Oisin rides through the woods to town. Gets a glimpse of an Ally. Just a simple transition page from Druid world to one more like our own.

Oisin wakes up the spirit in the tree so he can get his bike out. I was channeling Arthur Rackham today which is always a good thing.

Today I had an Ipod mishap and all the images I was hoping to draw from were deleted. (It might have something to do with the early morning booty call with Ross...that would fry any electronic). So, anyway, usually I look at pictures on my little 2" screen and draw from that but today no such luck. Maybe I should ditch that because once I light boxed those sketches onto bristol they turned out fine. all these images are directly out of my head bitches. See the awesome might of my genius brain.

Some sketches I did saturday to fill some holes. I extended the dream sequence where Oisin sees Byron for the first time...stops to kiss him. Tavius looking all buff.

New Desk

I finally got a new desk. I've had the same crappy old drawing table my parents gave me when I was  23. I hope the energy of a million pornographic images is still inside it ready to rejoin the universe and make make it squirm. 

Circle of trees

The top of the tower is a circle of trees on a hill above town.

Agony or ecstasy?

As usual my attempts at sensuality end up grotesque. What does that say about me?

Stairs

Going up through the tower to the exit at the top. I know it is highly improbable but, hell, it's a fantasy. Secret; this is based on the NYC library just not as classical...so maybe I'm not that far off from reality after all.

Street clothes

Oisin getting dressed for town. Sorry even Druids have to wear clothes in town. You'd be amazed at how many millions of pictures are on the internet of guys pulling down their pants and none of them pulling them up. 

Tattoo One

Tavius gives Oisin his tatt that shows he's mastered a spell that lets him see the magical world, through time and space. This is a flattened version of Nathan's drawing of gender seen dimensionally. The concept of spirituality at one end of the spectrum and animal at the other perfectly encapsulated this story of Druid and Werewolf.

River Mouth

I did one little panel in Teleny where I drew the water like this. I didn't think much about it but Gaz thought it looked cool and challenged me to be even more stylized...here we have the results. I almost have my own style. Some nice Druid ass here as well. Hmmm
