Fearful Hunter number two last scene

The boys play in the hot spring at the end of this issue. I'm going for a much slower pace in this book with lots of slow pans and pauses. I like drawing pretty natural settings hopefully it does not hinder the story telling.

Your natural backgrounds carry the unspoken subtext of the story well, Jon. I doubt it slows or hinders the story telling at all. I think you could even use images that break across two pages without any loss of intensity.

The only person who could do double page spreads was Jack Kirby. There were some amazing ones that really caught the immense nature of the cosmos. It was because they were stylized, he had his own vocabulary that really worked.
